So it's nice to finally hear what other people have to say about a project I've been immersed in for so long.
Despite pulling an all-nighter the other day to get all my corrections back to the publisher on time (and once again, missing that deadline by a few hours when my fax machine worked about as slow as someone dealing with low blood sugar...), and wondering just when the work on this book would ever end, it's all worth it when I read something like this:
"This book is going to become the bible for women with diabetes (particularly type 1's). It's like 'What to Expect When You're Expecting with diabetes'! Only waaaaaay better."
From her typing fingertips to the book-buying public's ears!

Even though I have already been through a whole pregnancy, I am still looking forward to reading it!
